| Description: | We are currently seeking a Director of Resident Services who will be responsible for the quality, therapeutic value, regulatory compliance, and supervision of all aspects of planning and facilitating activities, events and wellness programs for the Independent Residents. The Director of Resident Services will work in coordination with all the Activity Directors in each level of care at the Village. The Director of Resident Services will be actively involved with Residents and focus on Resident satisfaction and will oversee all areas of service provided to the residents, such as transportation, concierge, beauty salons.
The successful candidate will be experienced in social services and/or recreational therapy. Supervisory experience required. |
| Qualifications: | Education, preferably a BA in Recreational Therapy or other field related to senior living and services.
Has experience in working alone and in developing events/programs.
Demonstrates supervisory capabilities.
Dedication to senior population and their unique needs and concerns.
Capable of sensitive and effective communication both verbally and in writing to professionals, residents and families, entertainers, educators, and staff members.
Ability to manage multiple objectives and tasks.
Has demonstrated creativity relative to event planning and communication.
