| Duties: | Performed by Licensed and Registered Nurses
Provide Leadership to nursing personnel
Maintains accurate and complete resident medical record documentation
Accurately prepares and administers medications and treatments to assigned residents according to physician orders and nursing procedures
Completes incident reports and medication error reports and reports to the Charge Nurse
Participates in shift report and assists in organizing resident care assignments
Provides assistance and supervision to the Nursing Assistants
Responsible for directing, delivering , and evaluating the quality of care provided by all team members
Responds immediately to emergency situations
Reports any concerns/problems or discrepancies to the Charge Nurse
Participates in providing restorative care for residents
Participates in survey inspections

| Qualifications: | a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in Indiana as either a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse;
a desire to work with geriatric population;
long-term care experience preferred;
willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
