| Description: | The Certified Nursing Assistant, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, will provide direct care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures and state and federal regulations. |
| Duties: | Tasks performed by Certified Nursing Assistants:
Assure residents are given assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, assisting with eating and hydration, proper feeding techniques, skin care, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting as outlined in the resident's plan of care.
Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
Monitor residents through frequent rounds to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.
Maintain resident rooms in an orderly and sanitary manner.
Answer resident calls promptly.
Identify resident problems and concerns and report them to the Charge Nurse.
Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action.
Accurately document the care and treatment provided to the resident.
Report changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.

| Qualifications: | Valid ISDH CNA Certification
